'Sound Of Girls Aloud' Tops The Charts!Girls Aloud have stormed to the top of the UK Album Chart, pushing Robbie Williams down to #2 as they claim their first ever #1 album! 'The Sound of Girls Aloud' sold an amazing 84,000 copies this week (higher than first week sales of 'Sound of the Underground' and 'Chemistry') which was 35,000 more than their closest contender! Meanwhile, 'Something Kinda Ooooh' managed to stay at #3 for a second week! The girls remain the only British act to enter the Top 10 on download alone after competing girls groups All Saints and Sugababes stalled at #11 and #30 respectively. Massive congratulations to Girls Aloud - it's much deserved and includes several songs worthy of the top spot themselves!
